GIST - February 2004 Issue
Ghana Land Of Magic

Herb    October 2003 in Ghana West Africa was an exciting adventure. We spoke before many organizations and were written up in the local newspaper. Ellen and I were greeted by God Unlimited minister Rev Andrew B Aikins from Sekondi and Rev Samuel Sasu from the Center for Spiritual Enlightenment from Accra.

Rev Aikins introduced us to his former school where he was superintendent for many years. We met the new director and teachers. Then we were honored to present to the hundreds of students the concept of a paradise nation of Ghana through words and songs. The children were eager to learn and all of the teachers asked for a copy of the words I Bless Ghana. From the first school many others followed as we toured the countryside and its schools hidden away in the jungle where many students carried their chairs and desks home at night. We spoke on The Magic Center to a special contingent of Rev Aikins' congregation. Through the night we traveled throughout Ghana to a very special church on the top of a hill where an esteemed audience awaited our presentation. The Rev Mary Davis of the center is also a school teacher whose school we visited earlier that day.

In Accra we spoke I Am Worth It at Rev Sasu's Center followed by a gala party celebrating the 25th anniversary of Rev Sasu having established the center and also celebrating his birthday. We were shown the new hotel under construction where on future visits we would be guest of Rev Sasu and his partner in the hotel. Deborah one of his center members graciously had her driver be our driver to all our special events throughout Ghana.

In a lecture at the Polytec University we taught the song I Bless Ghana and presented the theme of significant thinking and living harmoniously with being our self and having fun.

Ghana made us feel welcome and we look forward to returning this year.
