It is daybreak on the UNI campus and I walk
along the path from the Monastery to the Shangri-La. I enjoy the
dawning, the enchantment of the soft light of the sun rising inch by
inch on the horizon. I visualize the sun punctually following its
eternal path around the Earth without getting weary. The sun proceeds on
its way without being disturbed or delayed by the agglomeration of
fluffy white or heavy black clouds traveling beneath it. This is for me
a meaningful example of steadfastness in following my decisions and
ideas in the knowingness that all is in divine order.
At the Shangri-La I lovingly water the trees growing
lavishly around the house. I enjoy feeding the three tiny gold fish
living in a pond under the branches of the huge pine tree. I hear the
continuous barking of the neighbor’s big dog from their house behind our
wooden fence. I wonder why that dog is barking.
Sometimes it comes on the campus and says "hello" to
our Golden Retriever Rex.
On my way home with our Mini Pin Little Love I have an
adventure with a wild dog on the Campus of God Unlimited. Regardless of
his size, Little Love has an amazing ability to sense "something" new
about him. He has a natural eagerness to find out straight away what the
"new" smell is.
Anyhow I keep him firmly under control and direct my
attention towards the area he insists to reach with all his might.
Instantly I see the coyote at a distance of about 100 feet. His coat is
rather dark instead of the usual brownish color. He stands still and
looks straight towards to us, challenging us. I am calm. I affirm with
unconditional love: "All is in divine order". I shout at the intruder:
"Hi guy, get lost. I still love you." I continue on my way. Little Love
senses the calmness emanating from my gentle voice. The coyote runs.
Then he stops at my left side. From this new position he watches us.
When we reach the Citadel, the wild dog realizes this
is the end of his search for food here and dashes off in the direction
of the Hermitage. Now Little Love calms down once again. Whenever I take
Little Love for a walk, I hold the leash firm in my hand. Therefore, the
sudden approach of the wild dog does not catch me off guard. I handle
every situation in a positive way according to my affirmation of "I like
me". I am in peace with myself and my creation. Indeed: "All is in
divine order" now.
