Monks Celebrate Easter On Campus

A usual walk for the Monks in the Absolute Monastery is to the top of the surrounding mountains of the 104 acre campus. Shown here are Monk Ellen Jermini followed by Monk Gertrud Suter. The misty valley below stands in utter stillness awaiting the rising sun to begin the Easter service in these alpine heights.

The Sun leaps forth from its nesting place singing praises of life and love to the monks awaiting the opening of the Easter Service. From the left are monks: Sefire Bahaa, the Saint-Sankara Utman, Anita Lopp, Gertrud Suter, Herbert Beierle, Sylvia Enz, Rösli In-Albon, John Charles Dainty and Gerd Braun.

This picture shows the sun peaking through the misty mountains.
